Journalists' team visit Langtang

KATHMANDU, April 27: A team of journalists completed a tour of the Langtang region under the auspices of Ad Way Media and the co-organization, and promoted by Nepal Tourism Board. The team started their journey from Kathmandu on April 17th, 2023, and visited the Langtang area. The team reached Langtang on the 20th of April and returned to Kathmandu on the 24th. According to the plan to shoot the promotional video of Langtang, the journalists visited different places in the area. The program was completed in collaboration with Gosainkunda Rural Municipality, New Vision Nepal and Garima Voyage Travel.

About Langtang

Langtang is a suitable destination for tourists who enjoy hiking. Tourists are also attracted to this trail because it is close to the capital and is completed in a relatively short time. It is not a problem to reach the nearest tourist destination Langtang Valley from the capital Kathmandu. About 125 km from Kathmandu, buses are easily available up to Syafrubansi for travel. After traveling for about 8 hours, you will reach Syafrubesi in Rasuwa. Langtang trek starts from there. Crossing the suspension bridge from Syafrubesi to the side of the Langtang River, enjoying the scent of Katus and the colorful forest of Gurans, you will not feel tired. For tourists who prefer the local costumes of uphill and downhill, waterfalls, forest vegetation, rocks, mountains, and mountain ranges, Langtang is a suitable destination. Moreover, Langtang features well-equipped lodges and the warm hospitality of businessmen at various locations. In a three-day journey from Syaprubesi through the Langtang River hydropower project, you will reach Canjing via Pahero, Bambo Rimche, Lama Hotel, Ghotabela, Thansap, Gumba Dada, Langtang Mundu, Sindum. Canjing Valley lies at an altitude of 4,000 meters above sea level and is the source of the Langtang River. After a two-hour steep climb from there, you will reach Ghyasa (Gonzala Base Camp). Langtang Lirung Mountain can be seen right in front of Gyasa. Along with the 7,227 meters high Langtang, Mountains like Yala Peak (5500), Ganchampo (6378), Ney Ghang (5844), Scout Peak (5710), Cherko Peak (5700), Ghangjala Chuli (5863), and Langsisa Ri (6427) are also visible from here. Lirung Glacier flowing between two mountains is an unprecedented sight for nature lovers.
