Candidates to be issued election symbols as EC prepares for upcoming by-election in Bara, Chitwan, and Tanahun districts.

Election Commission to release final list of candidates for HoR by-election today

KATHMANDU, April 6: The Election Commission (EC) has announced that the final list of candidates participating in the upcoming House of Representatives (HoR) by-election in Bara, Chitwan, and Tanahun districts will be published today. The EC will also distribute election symbols to the candidates.

Candidates who wish to withdraw their candidacy can do so between 9 am and 1 pm today. The by-election is scheduled to take place on April 23, 2023, in Chitwan-2, Bara-2, and Tanahun-1.
