Ruling coalition parties meet to finalize minimum common program
KATHMANDU, April 5: The ruling coalition parties are currently holding a meeting at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.
The main agenda of the meeting is to discuss the minimum common program of the alliance, which comprises nine prioritized topics. The program has been prepared by a task force and will be finalized in today's meeting.
Once approved by the alliance meeting, the minimum common program will be announced today.
The policy and program have been formulated by a working group consisting of members from different parties, including Ramesh Lekhak from Nepali Congress, Shakti Bahadur Basnet from CPN Maoist Center, Rajendra Shrestha from Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, and Bijay Paudel from CPN Unified Socialist.
