President Paudel discharged from hospital

KATHMANDU, April 5: President Ramchandra Paudel has been discharged from Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj, and has returned to Shital Niwas, as per the latest report. The Head of State was admitted to the hospital last Saturday due to abdominal problems. TUTH administration chief Baikuntha Prasad Thapaliya has confirmed his discharge from the hospital today.

The doctors have advised the President to take complete rest for some time. According to the President's Secretariat, he has expressed his gratitude to all the healthcare professionals involved in his treatment and care, the TUTH family, and everyone who wished him a speedy recovery.
