Poll body to publish final list of Vice Presidential candidates today

KATHMANDU, March 12: The Election Commissioner has announced that the final name list of candidates for the upcoming Vice Presidential election will be published today between 4-5:00 pm.
The four candidates who filed their nominations on Saturday will undergo assessments and have any complaints filed against them reviewed before the final name list is published.
The election is set to take place on March 17.
In an effort to promote diversity, the Election Commission has instructed the election officer to ensure that candidates of different genders and communities are registered as nominees for the position. Stay tuned for updates on the final list of candidates.
