Presidential election: Total vote count is 831
KATHMANDU, March 9: A total of 831 votes have been cast in the Presidential election held in the Parliament building at New Baneshwor today. The Election Officer’s office announced the total number of votes cast after the election held on Thursday ended.
Out of 884 total voters, 15 remained neutral towards the Federal Parliament, 2 MPs were absent due to illness, and one MP has been suspended, while one did not participate in the voting because he was absconding. Similarly, one post of Rabi Lamichhane is vacant, while another MP has died.
Likewise, 518 votes out of 550 were cast for the province according to the Election Officer’s office.
