Eight political parties direct their lawmakers to be in Kathmandu by tomorrow

KATHMANDU, March 7: The eight party ruling alliance has directed all their lawmakers in Provincial Assemblies, the House of Representatives and the National Assembly  to be in Kathmandu by Wednesday.

A meeting of the alliance held earlier this morning took a decision to this effect as the presidential election is scheduled for 11 AM, Wednesday.

Ram Chandra Poudel of Nepali Congress and Subhash Chandra Nembang of CPN-UML are vying for the post of the president.
