U-19: Nepal sets a target of 192 runs
KATHMANDU, March 2: In a match between Nepal and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in ICC Under-19 Men’s Cricket World Cup Asia Qualifier 2023, Nepal has set a target of 192 runs.
Losing the toss, Nepal scored 191 runs in loss of all wickets in 45.5 overs.
For Nepal, captain Dev Khanal contributed 51 runs while Bishal Bikram KC, Uttam Magar, Hemanta Dhami and Milan Bohora scored 38, 36, 13 and 10 runs respectively.
Nepal is being captained by Dev Khanal. He carries the experience of having captained the Nepal Under-19 team during the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup 2021 in Sharjah. With an eye to spot talent for this Asia Qualifiers, Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) had organized an Under-19 Men’s National tournament from November 23 to December 5, 2022.
