Deuba sends letter to Oli seeking help in upcoming presidential election

KATHMANDU, Feb 28: President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has sent a letter to KP Sharma Oli, Chairman of CPN-UML, seeking votes for Ram Chandra Poudel, Congress’s candidate, in the upcoming presidential election.

Both the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML have filed their candidacy for the presidential election.

The parties can withdraw their candidacy today.

The election of president is scheduled for March 9.
