KATHMANDU, Feb 27: Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhan can go abroad to play tournaments,

Upholding the verdict passed by the Patan High Court to release Lamichhane on bail of Rs 2,000,000, the Supreme Court has given permission to Lamichhane to go abroad to play games in coming.

However, the apex court has ordered Lamichhane to report to the Kathmandu District Court within 15 days of return.

The High Court had earlier barred Lamichhane from travelling abroad as a rape case filed against him is still sub-judice at the court.
