Red card to Felix on his debut, Chelsea defeated

LONDON, Jan. 13: Chelsea lost to Fulham 2-1 after Portuguese winger Joao Felix left the field upon receiving a red card in his debut game. With the game tied at 1-1, Felix received a red card in the 58th minute of the game for a bad tackle. Felix had recently joined Chelsea on loan from Atletico Madrid.
In the West London derby, Willian scored a goal in the 25th minute of the game to give Fulham the lead. At the beginning of the second half, Kalidou Koulibaly scored and brought Chelsea back into the game. But after Felix became the 22nd player to receive a red card on his Premier League debut, Chelsea became limited to 10 players, taking advantage of which Carlos Vinicius scored in the 73rd minute to give Fulham the win.
After the defeat, Chelsea has been limited to the 10th place in the league by collecting only 25 points from 18 games. Fulham has climbed to sixth place in the league with 31 points from 19 games.
