London Mountain Film Festival selects 'Co-Husband'

KATHMANDU, Jan. 4: The documentary film 'Sahayak Sriman' (Co-Husband) made on the subject of polygamy has been selected for the London Mountain Film Festival in Britain. Director Ganesh Pandey informed that the film was selected for the film festival.
The festival will be organized within the year 2023. Before this, the film won awards in various festivals in many countries including America. This 35-minute film was shot in Humla, Karnali region.
As many brothers as there are in the house, the unique and strange custom of marrying one wife still exists in some Himalayan districts including Humla of Nepal. Director Pandey brought the topic to the screen.
The documentary film is produced by Sign Media Pvt. Ltd.  The script-writer of the film is also director Pandey himself.
