Biplav-led group be brought to mainstream: Nidhi

Chitwan–Vice-President of the Nepali Congress, Bimalendra Nidhi, has said that Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav'-led group should be brought to the mainstream by holding talks.

At a press conference organised by Nepal Press Union, Chitwan, here today, he expressed the view that it was necessary to seek solution of the problems through talks as prohibiting any political parties was not good in democracy.

Saying although open environment is now being built in a political manner, the NC Vice-President said that none of the political parties should not move ahead taking arms for personal interest.

He, however, said that there was no groupism in the NC. Leader Nidhi said that party's Mahasamiti and central committee meetings have already resolved problems.

Vice-President Nidhi said that people's hope and belief has increased towards the NC again due to activities of the government, adding that time has come to carry out activities to fulfill people's hope.

On a different note, he said that Ad.hoc meeting of the Nepal Student Union would be finalized after central committee meeting on July 7.
