17 passengers injured in bus accident at Barbardiya

Rajapur–Seventeen passengers were injured in a road accident at Rambhapur in Bardiya district this morning.

The accident took place when a bus (Na 4 Kha 1339) heading to Bajhang from Kathmandu overturned at Rambhapur of Barbardiya Municiplity-7along the East-West highway.

Of the injured, five passengers are in critical condition and are receiving treatment at Kohalpur based Teaching Hospital while other 12 passengers are taking treatment at local health posts, said DSP Madanjit Mahara.

According to him, cause behind the accident is yet to be reported.
