Kathmandu–Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has extended congratulations and best wishes to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chair Amit Shah for landslide victory of BJP in the recently held elections in India.
In the congratulatory messages sent on Thursday, Deuba extended best wishes to Modi and Shah on his own and on behalf of the Nepali Congress.
Deuba stated in the message that the century-old relations and friendship persisting between Nepal and India would further consolidate and grow in the days to come.
President Deuba also expressed his confidence that the relations and collaboration between the two parties, NC and BJP, would further strengthen, stated a press release issued by NC chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
