Achham–An unidentified group of people torched a parked vehicle (Ba 2 Jha 3694) belonging to Mangalsain municipality. The vehicle was destroyed completely in the fire.
The local people reported the incident to the police shortly. The firing seemed premeditated by a group of the banned Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand and a search has been launched for those behind it, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Janak Bahadur Shahi.
The municipality purchased the torched vehicle for Rs 12 million a year ago. ---
