Nepal's national flag hoisted in Shaanxi

 Xi'an ,China–Shaanxi Province officials have attempted to showcase the Hotel Peoples Grand where visiting President Bidya Devi Bhandari is landed as the President Home of Nepal. Nepal's national flag has been hoisted at the top of the hotel.

President Bhandari, who is on the State Visit to China at the invitation of her Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, had reached Xi'an, the centre of Shaanxi Province, on April 24.

The hotel established in 1953 was initially used as government's guest house of Shaanxi province. Transformed into the partnership business venture with French Company, Sofitel Legend, the hotel now is named as Sofitel Legend Peoples Grand Hotel.

Xi'an has total population of around 10 million while Shaanxi Province has roughly 38 million people, said an official. ---
