NC President expresses grief over bomb blast in Sri Lanka

Kathmandu–Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed profound grief over the incident of serial bomb explosions leaving hundreds of people dead and injured in Colombo of Sri Lanka.

Issuing a press release, NC President and former Prime Minster Deuba has condemned the incident and note the incident has aggrieved and shocked the entire world.

"NC always vehemently denunciates such terrorist incidents against humanity wherever it takes place. NC has the clear stance that violence, killings and terror should be put to an end forever", reads the release.

"On behalf of my party and on my own, I would like to express deep condolence to the Sri Lankan government and the people there in the grief-stricken moment. I also urge the Sri Lankan government and people to move ahead with patience to cope with the situation", the NC President added.

Deuba also extended tribute to all those killed in the incident and wished for the eternal peace of the departed soul. He also expressed condolence and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. ---
