Kaski– Music composer and teacher Thulung Rai, 50, died in a road accident. Rai has been in the music practice in Pokhara for the past two decades.
The accident took place when the scooter (Ga 12 Pa 679) he was riding along with his wife hit a rallying of a wall at Sheetaladevi in Pokhara metropolis at around 9.30 last night.
After the accident, Thulung had fallen into the Seti canal and the ward police office Rambazaar had rescued him from Duikula in Pokhara-13 at around 10.30 pm.
Police had rushed him to the Western Regional hospital but he had already breathed his last, said Kaski Police.
The art and music sector of Pokhara is in deep shock after the passing away of Thulung. He has been running 'Tarana Music Centre' in Pokhara. ---
