Indian ambassador inaugurates hospital

Lahan– Indian ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri on Wednesday inaugurated the Chandranarayan Yadav Memorial Maternity Hospital.

The 25-bed maternity hospital was constructed with the Indian government assistance of Rs 2.69 billion. It has operated its service from Wednesday.

Chandranarayan Yadav Memorial Trust said the hospital has started its service delivery under the principle based on quality motherhood and child health.

The hospital is equipped with medical instruments, including ultrasound, x-ray, blood bank, emergency, minor OT, three doctors' chambers, a nurse room, a store room, administration/account section, rest room ICU, CCU and major Operation Theater.

It is expected that the hospital services would improve safe motherhood and child health sector in Siraha and its surround. ---
