Patients’ flow up at Rolpa District Hospital

Rolpa– The District Hospital, Rolpa is coping with an increased flow of patients lately. With the change in weather, the number of typhoid, diarrhea and fever patients has shot up in the hospital based in Reugha. The hospital records show that some 80-90 patients visit the hospital daily.

According to Dr Dhana Maya Gharti, many of the patients are children and they mostly report diarrhea, typhoid and a fever. The problem emerged with weather change may have been fueled due to poor sanitation practices among the folks. She urges people to avoid impure drinking water and stale food. Rolpa is a hilly district in State 5.
