Valley’s weather to improve from Monday

Kathmandu– The weather across the country including the Kathmandu Valley which has remained affected for the past few days due to impact of the Westerly and local winds will be gradually improved from Monday.

However, it is likely to take one or two more days for the central and eastern regions to see the improvement, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said. Cumulative impact of the Westerly winds, of the creation of a low-pressure line in the eastern region, of the humid air from the Bay of Bengal and local wind was seen in weather across the country.

Brief thundershowers are likely to occur in few places of the western part tonight while light to moderate rains has been forecast tomorrow in some places of the eastern hilly districts. Moreover, there is a possibility of wind and storm in some places of the eastern Terai in the next 24 hours.

According to the Division’s latest details, the Valley’s minimum temperature was recorded at 13.0 degree Celsius while the maximum temperature at 17.8 degree Celsius.
