PM Oli holds talks with state chief ministers

Kathmandu, April 4 (RSS): Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today held talks with the chief ministers of all seven states of the country on policies and programmes for the next fiscal year 2019/20.

In the joint meeting at Prime Minister's official residence in Baluwatar, PM Oli cautioned the attending chief ministers against repetition of the same programme by central, state and local governments.

"A meeting of the National Coordination Council should be called so as to prevent repetition of the same programme" attending chief minister of state 1 Sherdhan Rai quoted PM Oli as saying. PM also assured of prompt implementation of 29 points decided by the previous meeting of the Interprovincial Coordination Council.

On the occasion, the PM urged all states to help in relief and rehabilitation efforts to the people of Bara and Parsa victimised by the massive storm. Chief Ministers of all states are in the central capital Kathmandu attending the meeting of the National Development Council to finalise the draft of the concept paper of the 15th five-year periodic plan prepared by the National Planning Commission.
