Kathmandu– President Bidya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to inaugurate the Eighth National Games on April 18.
President Bhandari would inaugurate the National games at Nepalgunj Stadium amidst a programme on April 18. The National Games is taking place in State -5 from April 5-24, according to the National Sports Council.
Similarly, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli would conclude the National Games. The date and venue for the Ninth National Games would be announced on the concluding ceremony, according to NSC.
However, the games of championship would begin from April 10 where 5,211 athletes would compete for 1,307 medals.
