Phidim–The Panchthar police have arrested a school teacher on the charge of sexual abuse against a 13-year-old female student through manipulation. The alleged is Upendra Chaudhary of Shambhunath rural municipality, Saptari district. Chaudhary is a science teacher in a school based in the Hilihang rural municipality.
The girl said the teacher visited her home when she was alone and abused her promising her good results in the exam. His arrest on Tuesday followed the registration of a complaint by the girl’s family. The alleged is under investigations, District Police Office, Panchthar’s police inspector Anil Kumar Poudel said.
