Man slips and disappears into Trishuli river

Ratnanagar (Chitwan) - A person disappeared after falling into the Trishuli river at Ichchakamana rural municipality – 5 near Muglin. 

Ranjan Chapagain, 45, was a member of a wedding procession on a vehicle with registration no plate – Lu 1 Kha 9881 – which was en route to Daldale of Nawalparasi. He slipped and fell into the river while standing at the edge of the road at 5:45 am, according to District Police Office, Chitwan. 

He had disembarked from the vehicle during a traffic jam, according to eye witnesses. The incident site is located at the mid section of Muglin and Kurintaar. Superintendent of Police (SP), Deepak Thapa, said a search has been launched to find the missing man.
