NARC's farmers network gains ground

Kathmandu–Nepali leg spinner Sandeep Lamichhane has registered his name as the highest wicket taker in thear 2019. According to the International Cricket Council (ICC), Sandeep took total 27 wickets from January to April 1 in the year 2019 to establish this record. With this in his credit, Sandeep has left behind the previous records of Pakistani team's former captain Shaheed Afridi, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan, Sakib Ul Hasan. In the year 2019, Pakistani all-rounder Afridi took 26 wickets, Rashid 25 and Sakiba 24. Currently Saneep is playing the Indian Premier League (IPL) from Delhi Capitals.

He took two wickets in the 13th match against Kings Eleven Punjab on Monday night. Sandeep had taken four wickets in six matches of Bangladesh Premier League in January 2019. Likewise, he took five wickets in three T-20 series against UAE. After this, he sent four batsmen to pavilion in the Big Bash League of Australia. Likewise, he took 11 wickets in Pakistan Super League.
