March begins for ending caste discrimination

Kanchanpur– In order to contribute to end the pervasive caste-based discrimination, Homraj Acharya and Ashok Darnal began 'Nepal Walkathon-2075' from Bhimduttanagar of Kanchanpur on Sunday. 


Sushil Baidya, Chief District Officer of Kanchanpur, saw off the walkathon participant duo Acharya and Darnal and wished for the success of the march. 


Likewise, Surendra Bista, Mayor of Bhimdutta municipality, pledged their support to exterminate the practices of caste discrimination. 


The 1,321-km-long march that kicked off from Kanchanpur for social justice is to be completed within 45 days. 
The campaigner would reach out to several villages to sensitize people about caste-based discrimination and also discuss with local denizens about the reasons behind disparity. ---
