Tamu language film to be screened

Pokhara– A film in Tamu language titled 'Mle Kyu' (Forgetful water) is to be screened in Pokhara in the New Nepali Year 2076. The film directed by Jasu Gurung is scheduled to be screen on Baisakh 7. 


The story of the film is by Roshan Gurung while Maotse Gurung has written the screenplay with Riya Gurung, DB Gurung, Ronit Gurung, Kristi Gurung, Kamal Gurung as the main artists. The film makes an effort to highlight the various aspects of the death rituals of Tamu community, said film director Jasu Gurung.

 
The film is being screened at the Bindabasini Film Hall in Pokhara, with two shows—at 12:00 and 15:00 hrs. The first premier of the film was held in Hong Kong, China on March 3.
