Working in best interest of Nepali my first responsibility: Ambassador Dhakal

Banepa–Nepali Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Krishna Prasad Dhakal has asserted that the securing the welfare of Nepalis in UAE was his first responsibility.

At a programme organized by Mandan Deupur Municipality in Kavrepalanchowk today to congratulate him for being appointed as an Ambassador, the newly appointed ambassador Dhakal said, "The highest virtue is to discharge one's duty with gratitude and in good faith. To serve Nepalis in UAE facing problems is my first priority."

Stating that UAE was the third biggest trade partner of Nepal, Dhakal argued that there was a tremendous prospect of economic diplomacy and he would leave no stone unturned for the same.

He opined, "We could export green vegetables, fruits, water and horticulture produce among other agro-based produces. I will be effortful to promote export from Nepal to UAE by coordinating with the concerned authorities in UAE."
Furthermore, Dhakal pledged to coordinate effort with the business community in UAE to attract investment to Nepal.
Mandan Deupur Municipality mayor Tok Bahadur Waiba said they were proud of Dhakal being appointed as an Ambassador to UAE. Mayor Waiba wished for the successful tenure of Dhakal, who originally hailed from the same place.
