Lalitpur mayor ready to move ahead joining hands with people

Lalitpur– Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Chiribabu Maharjan, has said that the metropolis was ready to move ahead joining hands with the people in development activities at local levels. 


At a programme organised at Magargaun of Lalitpur metropolis today, Mayor Maharjan expressed commitment not to be biased in development activities under the influence of any party. 


He said, "A total of 64 meetings have been held in 20 months of my term. Though I am in minority politically, no dispute has surfaced." 


Chairperson of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Ward 18, Purushottam Khadka, said that there would not be budget crunch in development construction if full transparency is adopted. 


On the occasion, it was informed that road from Magargaun to Sano Khokana was constructed at a cost of around Rs 3.2 million with the financial support of Lalitpur metropolis and locals.
