Condolence meetings in all districts of Gandaki province to mourn Adhikari's death

Kaski– Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Rabindra Adhikari, who was killed in a helicopter crash in Taplejung on Wednesday, will be cremated with state honours here at Ramghat on Friday. 
Before the funeral, Adhikari's mortal remains will be kept at the Exhibition Centre at local Nayabazar for paying of last respects. Then after the funeral procession will start from Nayabazar and reach to Ramghat for cremation after passing through Mahendrapul, Ranipauwa and Hospitalchok, Nepal Communist Party (NCP) central member Rajkaji Gurung said. 


A cabinet meeting on Wednesday has decided to cremate Adhikari with state honours. 
According to Gurung, PrimeMinister KP Sharma Oli, government ministers, political party leaders and high officials will attend the funeral. 


A meeting attended by the NCP province office office-bearers, available central and province members and the members of the party mechanism and held at the District Party Office at Shanti Vatika today decided that the district party office will make arrangements for the cremation at the coordination of the Gandaki Province Government. The meeting was organised by the NCP Province Office. 


The meeting also decided to organise condolence meetings at all the districts in the Gandaki Province on Sunday (March 3) and to fly the party flag at half mast to mourn party leader Adhikari's demise, Gurung added. 
Preparations have been made to bring the late Adhikari's body to his home town, Pokhara, by the evening today.
