Diktel ,Mudgebarrack–Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa has directed the Nepal Army rank and file to work with high morale and discipline to develop the army a strong and competent force.
In course of his on-site inspection of Tainath Bahadur Shreesher Battalion here, Army Chief Thapa said there would be no deviation on the implementation of general directives with seven goals and 151 action points in a bid to make the NA effective and result-oriented.
The NA general directive has pledged to make the purchase of arms and ammunitions, peacekeepers selection and promotion transparent.
He also directed the army command to work to ensure security since security and development complement each other. "We should ensure security to materialize the 'Happy Nepali, Prosperous Nepal' campaign put forth by the government. ---
