Bring corrupt employees to book: NC leader Poudel

Damauli– Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel today viewed that anyone indulging in corruption should not be let free by just relieving him/her of duties. He demanded that the government should take stern action against anyone involving in corruption, and maintain good governance and peace and security.

Talking to media-persons here today, the NC leader also sought action against Raj Narayan Pathak, Commissioner at the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority who stepped down from the post following the bribe-taking scandal.
Admitting that the NC has been less effective opposition in parliament, he emphasised that the party should utilize the House as a venue to raise the issues of national importance.

On NC's general convention, he wanted it to convene within the stipulated time.
