Teaching faculty not paid for months

 

Rolpa–The teaching faculty of Jaljala multiple campus have not been paid since the past six months. 
Sixteen campus teachers and four employees of the campus, affiliated to the Tribhuvan University, have not received their remuneration since mid-August. "Our daily life has become very difficult as we have not received the salary," said reader at the campus Dipendra Shahi. Furthermore, those who do not have an additional income are facing severe crisis.  


Meanwhile, Campus Chief Bishnu Prasad Acharya said as the teaching facility and employees have been adjusted to the affiliation of the Mid-western University, there has been a problem in releasing of payment. "The budget for salary has not been received as the adjustment process is underway," Acharya said. The teachers will be paid soon after it is completed. 


The teaching faculty of the campus includes 15 readers, a teaching assistant while the employees are an accountant, a librarian and two office assistants. Founded in 2061 B.S., the campus has been running diploma level classes in humanities, management and education stream.
