Lighting leaves mother, son injured

Kanchanpur–A woman and her 14-year-old son were injured after a lightning struck their house this morning at Parifanta of Shuklaphanta municipality-8 in Kanchanpur. 


Area Police Office, Jhalari’s inspector Ramesh Dutta Awasthi confirmed that Gaura Khatri and her son were injured in the incident and they are being treated at a private medical facility. 


Both of them are out of a life-threatening condition, the police inspector added. 
The lightning has damaged the tiled house roof, and electric system at home. ---
