Private sector-funded hospital comes into operation

Dullu–A well-equipped hospital, built on funding of private sector of Dullu, Dailekh, has come into operation. 
The 15-bed Asharam Hospital, constructed at the cost of around Rs 25 million at Dulu Municipality, has initiated its services from last Saturday. 


Kapil Khanal, managing director of the hospital, informed the hospital has been brought into operation so as to provide services through specialized doctors in Dullu. 


With the hospital coming into operation, the disadvantaged and financially weak locals would not be compelled to travel to Surkhet and Nepalgunj for treatment, he informed. 


The hospital is equipped with ultrasound and video X-ray services. 
According to Khanal, the hospital has a well-appointed laboratory where tests for Thyroid, Sugar can also be performed. He further informed that the hospital would provide its services to the economically weak population of the area in an affordable charge by adding other services. 


Free health check-up services were made to the locals on the occasion of the commencement of services in the hospital. ---
