45-YO US Man Dupes Woman By Pretending To Be Saif Ali Khan From 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' On Tinder
In today’s world of right and left swipe, dating can be really dangerous and with the coming of Tinder, it has become trickier. While some enjoy the app, others end up having some really brutal experiences.
In 2015, something similar happened with a 44-year-old US resident Anna Rowe but the cat came out of the bag just a while ago reports India Today.
Anna was conned by a married man - also a father - on Tinder, who used the photo of none other than Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan. The 45-year-old divorced man was named Anthony Ray and he duped Anna in 2015. She did not realise that the man posing in the picture was Saif Ali Khan.
Anna became an advocate after four years and now she fights such cases. She has been in touch with the US police, demanding to make 'posing as someone else on dating apps', illegal.
In an interview to CBC Radio, Canada's radio station, Anna opened up about Anthony Ray, "He's described himself as a divorced father. He said that he was honest, loyal, genuine and, at the very bottom of his profile which was what caught me because I really wasn't that interested in the photos was that he hated poor communication and mind games. And it was literally those words at the bottom that really caught my interest because I thought: 'He's been hurt before and he's not going to hurt me'.”
In the same interview, Anna also revealed that she met Ray in person as well, but found out months later that he had duped her.
We wonder if Saif Ali Khan knows about this genius.
