Rs 1 million donated to Govinda Biyogi Journalism Study Centre

Kathmandu–Social worker Nira Baidya donated Rs 1 million to the Govinda Biyogi Journalism Study Centre in memory of her late father-in-law Ganesh Bahadur Khawakhali and mother-in-law Laxmibaba. 

The money was provided to construct a centre's building at Suirechaur in Nuwakot district, said a centre's member Kiran Baidya. Likewise, social worker Sabi Pahari donated Rs 31,000 to construct the building. Biyogi, who was also founding member of Rastriya Samachar Samiti, contributed to the development of journalism.
