Speaker draws govt's attention to issues raised by NC

Kathmandu–Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara today called the attention of the government to the issues raised by the main opposition Nepali Congress.

Speaker Mahara did so at today's second meeting of the House of Representatives following meeting obstructions by the NC shortly after its commencement. Following the obstructions, he announced the meeting postponement until 3 pm, Tuesday.

In the first meeting, NC leader Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar had complained of the Cabinet meeting on January 3 failing to take any decision on hospitals (GP Koirala National Centre for Respiratory Diseases and Sushil Koirala Prakhar Cancer Hospital) established in the name of NC late leaders.
