Elderly held on rape charge

Chitwan– An elderly male was arrested on charge of raping a 15-year-old girl from Ratnanagar in Chitwan.

Sukbir Tamang, 75, was arrested on rape charge based on the complaints lodged by the victim, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dayanidhi Gyawali of Area Police Office, Tandi. The elderly man, also a local witch doctor, is charged of raping the girl under the pretext of treating the teen girl.
