'A' division league: 12th round matches from tomorrow

Kathmandu– The 12th round matches under the ongoing Martyrs' Memorial ' A' division league are taking place from tomorrow. 


As stated by the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), three matches will be held each on Monday and Tuesday and one match has been scheduled for Wednesday. 


In the opening match of the round, New Road Team (NRT) is facing with the Machhindra Club; Friends Club and Brigade Boys Club are meeting for the second match while the Jawalakhel Youth Club and the Tribhuvan Army are scheduled to meet for the third match same day. The first and second matches will be held at the Satdobato-based ANFA ground and the third match at the Halchowk-based Armed Police Force (APF) ground. 


Manang Marsyangdi Club has already won the league title for the eighth time with the completion of the matches of the 11th round. The team achieved the cent percent results and collected 33 points. It defeated the Sankata Club by 3-2 in the match of the 11th round to clinch the title. With this, the team is certain to bag Rs 5 million of cash prize. 


So far, Sankata is in the second position with 25 points in the league table, Three Star in third position with 23 points, Tribhuvan Army in fourth place with 21 points and the Nepal Police is in the fifth place with 18 points. 


Himalayan Sherpa is in the sixth position with 17 points, the APF in the seventh place with the same points, Chyasal Youth Club in the eight position with the 15 points and the Jawalakhel Youth in the ninth place with 11 points. 


Similarly, Saraswoti is in the tenth place with 10 points, Friends Club in the 11th position with nine points, Machindra and Brigade in the 12th and 13th positions with equal 6 points and the NRT is at the bottom on the league table with five points.
