Tenth round matches of Martyrs' Memorial A-Division begin today

Kathmandu–The tenth round matches under the ongoing Martyrs' Memorial A-Division League will kick off from today. As its part, three matches will be held today, while two each on Saturday and Sunday, according to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). 


In a first match on Friday, Saraswati Youth Club and Machchhindra Club are facing, and Himalayan Sherpa Club and Friends Club are playing the second match. Both of them will be held at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. Jawalakhel Youth Club and New Road Team are playing the third match at Armed Police Force Stadium at Halchowk. 


Likewise, Three Star is taking on Chyasal Youth Club in a first match on Saturday. Sankata Club and Brigade Boys Club are playing the second match. Both of the matches will be organised at the APF Stadium at Halchowk. 


The tenth round of the games under the Championship would be played on Sunday. Sinday’s first game would be played between the two departmental teams - Tribhuvan Army and the Armed Police Force (APF). Nepal Police will play against Manang Marshyangdi Club in the second match of the day. 


Until the conclusion of the ninth round games under the league, Manang Marshyangdi is on the top of the points chart with 27 points. It is on a winning streak so far. Sankata, which is in the second position, has 24 points, followed by Three Stars Club with 22 points in the third place. Tribhuvan Army is in the fourth position with 18 points, Nepal Police in the fifth position with 15 points, the Himalayan Sherpa in the sixth position with 14 points and the Chyasal Youth Club is in the seventh place with 13 points. 


Likewise, APF which has 13 points is in the eighth position, Saraswati Club with 10 points is in the ninth position, Jawalakhel Youth Club with eight points is in the 10th position, Brigade Boys with five points is in the 11th place, Friends Club with five points is in the 12th position, Machchhindra Club with three points is in the 13th place and New Road Team (NRT) with one point is in the 14th place in the points table. 


Sixty-two out of total 91 matches under the league have been held so far while 29 matches remain.
