FNJ, Siraha chapter to limit misuse of press freedom

Lahan– The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Siraha chapter has decided to take action against the non journalists misusing the freedom of the press. 

The chapter's 10th AGM concluded recently agreed to seek punishment against non-journalist people involved in tarnishing the image of the entire press through its misuse.

There are complaints that some non-journalist people are misusing the spirit of press freedom for their personal interests and the AGM had decided to be tougher against such [bad] practice, chapter chair Dineshwor Prasad Gupta.

The gathering also agreed to bid a respectful farewell to passive journalists and renew the membership of active ones and take initiatives to build a new building for the chapter. ---
