Martadi – The flood-hit families at Rila village in Badimalika Municipality-4 of Bajura district have been provided with relief materials by different social organizations on Wednesday.
The representatives of the municipality and social organizations provided the assistance materials to a total of 172 households who were affected from the floods and landslides occurred in August of this monsoon, according to Ward Chairman of Badimalika-4 Surendra Nath.
Likewise, 110 students from the economically underprivileged community and the children of flood affected families were also given warm clothes.
Deputy Mayor Kabita Bista said that the Municipality and Bajura district chapter of Nepal Red Cross Society also provided altogether 115 tarpaulins and pipe to ensure water supply to the flood hit people.
