Absconding driver busted

Kathmandu – The Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu on Monday arrested a driver who went at large after a road accident in Kathmandu on November 28. 


A police team nabbed van driver Kumar Shrestha, 36, of Kavre who was absconding after knocking Jeevan Singh, 19, who was originally from Kanchanpur and is living at Kirtipur, in Teku on November 28 morning. 


Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Range Spokesperson DSP Hobindra Bogati informed that the police team arrested him with a van (Ba 17 Cha 3293) from Kavre. 


Singh who died after being knocked by a vehicle was a son of Nepal Police head constable ----
