Manang, Tribhuvan Army undefeated till five rounds of A division league football

Kathmandu –The Manang Marsyangdi Club and Tribhuvan Army Club continue their undefeated journey till the completion of the five rounds matches under the ongoing Martyrs Memorial 'A' division league football championship.  


The Manang with cent per cent results is in the topmost position of the table chart. It has so far collected 15 points while Tribhuvan Army following it with victories in four matches and a draw in remaining one is in the second position with 13 points. 


Three Star and Sankata won four matches and faced a defeat in one, garnering 12 points while Nepal Police Club and Himalayan Sherpa Club clinched wins in three matches, finished one in a draw and lost one, collecting 10 points each. Saraswoti is following them to be in the seventh position with six points from two wins and three lost matches. 


Chyasal Youth Club which makes its debut in the 'A' division league from this season is on the eighth position with four points. It won a match, played a draw in one and suffered defeats in three and the Friends Club, Jawalakhel Youth and the Armed Police Force share the same results with Chyasal. 


The Brigade Boys as three points from a victory in one match; Machhindra Football Club has two points and the NRT is at the bottom of the league table. 


According to league director Sanjiv Mishra, the matches of sixth round are beginning from Tuesday and the APF Club and NRT are meeting for the opening match and the Nepal Police Club and Sankata in the second match.
