Damauli –A commuter bus has knocked down a pedestrian in Tanahun on Sunday night. The deceased is identified as Bikas Gandharva of Bhanu Municipality-1, Tanahun.
The Nepalgunj-bound bus (Ga 1 Kha 7373) from Beni of Myagdi had hit pedestrian Gandharva at Bandipur Rural Municiplaity-4, Bimalnagar.
He died while undergoing treatment in Damauli Hospital at around 10.30 pm, confirmed the District Police Office, Tanahun.
Police took control the bus driver and bus for further actions.
Meanwhile, Krishna Kumar Shrestha, member of the House of Representatives from Tanahun electoral constituency-1, has demanded an end to fearful environment by controlling the rampage of leopards.
Earlier, the main-eater leopard has killed several children in the area. ---
