Kawaswoti –At least 25 passengers sustained injuries in a bus accident at Gaindakot municipality-14, Amarapuri of Nawalparasi along the East-West Highway at 2.00 this morning.
According to Ramesh Thapa, Superintendant of Police (SP) at District Police Office, Nawalparasi-east, the Kathmandu-bound bus (Na 6 Kha 3973) from Dang turned over after losing its control. Three among the injured are critical, Thapa informed.
He further said that Hom Bahadur Pokharel, 28, of Dang Ghorahi sub-metropolis-15, one-year child Yanush BK of Dang Shantinagar rural municipality-1 and Laxmi Basnet, 24, of Tulsipur are in serious condition.
Among the injured, 10 passengers are in moderate condition and 12 are normal, he shared.
All the injured are being treated at new Chitwan Medical College and old Medical College in Bharatpur. ---
