Nawalparasi – Minister for Water Supply and Sanitation Bina Magar laid the foundation stone of an overhead tank of the Rajahar drinking water and sanitation users committee in Devchuli municipality-16.
On Saturday, she also took note of the state of affairs of various drinking water projects in East Nawalparasi.
She talked to the users about the state of drinking water supply in Purano Gahatandi in ward no 14 of Gaidakot municipality. On the occasion, the locals shared that they were deprived of their fundamental right to drinking water as well as to power supply, health and education.
On the occasion, the water supply minister pledged to help resolve the problem of drinking water in Nagartandi, Gahatadi, Taranagar and Bhagar.
She also visited the Amarapuri drinking water and sanitation users committee in Gaindakot and the Agyauli drinking water and sanitation users committee in ward no. 16 of Kawasoti municipality.
